The Great Turkey Heist (A Thanksgiving Caper Starring Daisy the Pug)

And now— her crime in progress. Licking. Devouring. Her tiny tongue glazing my turkey with pure pug saliva.

Maricopa, Arizona.

The air was rich—
buttery, golden,
the scent of perfection.

A masterpiece of a meal,
fresh from the oven,
set on the counter to cool.

I stepped away,
just for a moment.

And then—

A sound.
A strange, rhythmic sound.
A quiet, wet… slurp.

I turned.
Looked.
And there she was.

DAISY.

On. The. Counter.

How?
HOW?!

The barstool.
A perfectly calculated launchpad.
A single bound.
A clean landing.
A silent approach.

And now—
her crime in progress.

Licking.
Devouring.
Her tiny tongue glazing my turkey
with pure pug saliva.

I gasped.
She froze.

A pause. A moment of tension.
Then—MORE LICKING.

She doubled down.
Not a shred of guilt.
Not a moment’s hesitation.
The turkey? No longer mine.
It belonged to Daisy now.

I lunged.
She dodged.
A greasy little goblin in full retreat.

She hit the floor.
Still chewing.

I was left with the ruins of a once-perfect meal.
A turkey tainted by betrayal.

Daisy?
Licking her lips.
Tail wagging.
Victorious.

And deep in my soul, I knew—
She would do it again.

BUT THEN…
Hours later.
Midnight.
A low, ominous gurgle in the darkness.

Then—

TURKEY FART.

Thick.
Dense.
An airborne declaration of victory.

I choked.
She exhaled.

A final act of dominance.
A pungent signature on the night.

Daisy sighed.
Settled in.
Dreaming of her next crime.

And me?
Forever haunted.

To be continued… because Daisy always strikes again.

Happy Thanksgiving!
