Untethered (A Duet)
A song about finding peace and freedom in stillness and nature.

(Verse 1 – Male Voice)
The snow blankets the farmland,
A soft quilt stretched on sleeping earth.
The trees lie bare, their branches brittle,
No leaves to hold, no secrets to share.

(Verse 2 – Female Voice)
Horses running through the pasture,
Manes like rivers flowing free.
Hooves drumming songs of wildness,
Stopping, staring right at me.

(Pre-Chorus – Male Voice)
And in their eyes, I see a question—
Here we are, part of your story.

(Chorus – Both Voices)
Run free, breathe deep, feel the now.
Untethered and weightless somehow.
Rooted like the farmhouse near,
Yet carried by the wind so clear.

(Verse 3 – Female Voice)
The farmhouse stands on the horizon,
Quiet witness to time’s slow hands.
The sky hangs low, the air is biting,
Winter’s breath across the land.

(Pre-Chorus – Female Voice)
But through the cold, I hear a whisper—
Even here, the world hums on.

(Chorus – Both Voices)
Run free, breathe deep, feel the now.
Untethered and weightless somehow.
Rooted like the farmhouse near,
Yet carried by the wind so clear.

(Bridge – Male Voice, with Female harmonies)
The horses play in frost-dusted air,
Breath like clouds rising high.
They weave their joy through winter’s stillness,
Carried off into the sky.

(Pre-Chorus – Male Voice)
And in their eyes, I see a question—
Here we are, part of your story.

(Chorus – Both Voices)
Run free, breathe deep, feel the now.
Untethered and weightless somehow.
Rooted like the farmhouse near,
Yet carried by the wind so clear.

(Outro – Female Voice, with Male harmonies)
I stand with them, feeling it all—
The stillness, the wildness, the call.
In this quiet corner, I remember—
Run free, breathe deep... untethered.
