RAW is an eight-song grunge and alternative rock album built around one idea: tell the truth before you have time to soften it. Written and produced by Christopher Sopher and featuring Emily Stellar's voice, each song exposes something personal: relationships, trauma, love, anger, vulnerability, survival, and the strange contradictions of being human.
The title RAW comes from the lyrics themselves. These are words meant to make you stop and think, holy shit, that's raw. Set against heavy guitars, psychedelic grunge textures, and explosive female vocals, RAW doesn't try to make uncomfortable thoughts more comfortable. It puts them on the record exactly where they belong.
Christopher Sopher’s RAW is built in the spirit of the classic rock records he grew up on — the vinyl of the late ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s that shaped entire generations. It pairs Sopher’s creative vision with the vocals of Emily Stellar, landing somewhere between nostalgia and bold experimentation.
