What's the point? Nobody is going to read this anyway...

The phrase "What's the point?" echoed in his mind—not as hopelessness, but as the fear that our most honest words will never be seen or understood. Then something unexpected happened. As he started writing back, the song slowly revealed itself.

I asked Sopher about "What's the Point?"

He said it was never supposed to become a song. It began as a simple thought, "Why Bother," after someone shared deeply personal poems with him.

A song they wanted, but I couldn't "Why Bother" with it, he chuckled. It sounded hopeless; I don't write in that style, so I had to make it my own. Then the imagery came to my head, and I started constructing the song from there, Sopher said.

The phrase "What's the point?" echoed in his mind—not as hopelessness, but as the fear that our most honest words will never be seen or understood. Then something unexpected happened. As he started writing back, the song slowly revealed itself.

It became a conversation between two people who had unknowingly lived through many of the same wounds. Sometimes the best songs aren't planned. They simply find us. This one was a happy accident.

Tus Palabras, Mis Heridas
